This page explains what mosematic.com collects, why, and what you can ask for. The site is run by Mubangizi Moses in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, who trades as Mosematic Technologies, a business name registered in Uganda (G260930-3343; P.O. Box 100048, Kampala, Uganda). Questions or requests go to hello@mosematic.com.

No tracking

The site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and sets no cookies. Its fonts and scripts are served from mosematic.com itself.

What you send, and where it goes

• Contact form (homepage): your name, email, type of enquiry and message. It is sent to the site’s API (hosted on Render), stored in a database hosted by Supabase, and forwarded to Moses by email so he can reply.
• Journal “notify me” (journal pages): your email address. It is sent and stored the same way as the contact form. Your browser also keeps a copy in its local storage under the key mosematic.nl.email, which you can clear in your browser settings.
• Mise waitlist (/mise): your name, email, company, country and role. It is stored the same way and used to tell you about Mise.

This information is used only to reply to you and to send what you asked for. It is never sold or shared for marketing.

Hosting and third-party content

The site is hosted on Netlify, and the API on Render. Like any web host, they process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and may keep them in server logs.

Some sections show content loaded directly from other services: book covers from Open Library and the Internet Archive, album art and audio previews from Spotify and Deezer, Instagram images, and some photos from Unsplash. When those load, your browser connects to those services, which can see your IP address.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you sent through the site. Email hello@mosematic.com and it will be handled by Moses directly.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
